SaaSpocalypse Now Wellington: new speakers announced

TL;DR: SaaSpocalypse Now Wellington is getting closer and we’ve locked in an epic line-up of speakers. Early-bird tickets close 24 August. Before then, join practical KiwiSaaS sessions on agentic web development, GTM Engineering and AI-assisted selling. Plus Christchurch Spring Drinks and a SaaS Leaders Breakfast before Tech Summit ’26.

SaaSpocalypse Now Wellington is getting closer and we’ve just added more speakers!

On Thursday 24 September, 300 SaaS people will take over HNRY Stadium Wellington for one day of practical learning, peer discussion and next-step planning. You’ll choose a stream and spend the day getting into the shifts that matter for your function.

This is not a sit-and-nod conference. Bring your questions, compare notes with people in your world, and leave with clearer next moves for your company and function.

Choose the stream that fits your role:
1. Marketing, Sales & GTM hosted by Serge van Dam and Charlie Marsh, plus Rob Borland (Xero), Kendyl Morris (Starshipit), Nick Whitehead (Serko) and Jacques Lourens (Oxygen Advisors).

2. Product/Engineering is for teams exploring agentic development, bigger product bets, product portfolios. Hosted by Simon Young and Tasneem Gould.

3. People/Ops/Leadership provides the same practical chance to compare notes with peers and leave with clearer next moves. Hosted by David Clearwater and Jenae Turner.

Plus, we’ve got Nicole Retter from PAM as MC and the first ever Wellington Total Bad SaaS Awards. View our agenda.

Early-bird tickets close on 24 August, so secure your spot now before prices hike. Register here

Future of Agentic Web Development
Members workshop

Agentic development is moving fast and for larger tech teams, the real question is how to adopt it safely, pragmatically and at scale.

Join our Wellington workshop, a refreshed rerun of our Auckland session, for practical lessons from teams already experimenting. Hear from Mick Clarke on recent successes at DataTorque; Andrew Butel on his AI-first service provider Telos and takeaways from the AI Engineers’ World Fair; and John Good, VP of Engineering at Seequent, on applying these shifts in a 450-person R&D organisation.

Come ready to compare notes with peers and explore what agentic development could mean for your product and engineering roadmap.

For CTOs, CPOs and Heads of Engineering at KiwiSaaS member companies with $5m+ ARR. Member companies can bring up to two participants.

Wednesday 26 August | 9:00am-12:00pm | Wellington | Free for members. Register

GTM Engineering: automate, scale + win
Public workshop

GTM Engineering is reshaping how the world’s fastest-growing companies go to market — Canva, Stripe, Ramp and OpenAI are already doing it. Silicon Valley can’t stop talking about it… and here in Aotearoa, it’s barely on the radar (yet).

Join Paul Zaruchevsky (Wedge GTM) for a public, in-person workshop in Wellington where we’ll unpack what GTM Engineering is, why it’s emerging now, what the stack looks like, and real GTM plays you can implement to generate more pipeline without scaling headcount. Expect a particular focus on Clay, and why and how GTM teams are putting it into action.

Friday 14 August 2026 | 9:30–11:30am | Free for members and non-members
Taiawa Wellington Tech Hub (Vic Uni), Rutherford House, 33 Bunny St. Register here

AI-assisted selling show & tell
Public webinar

Join us for a practical 45-minute AI show-and-tell for SaaS GTM teams, featuring live demos from Glen Jones (Carepatron) and Dulan Perera (Re-Leased). They’ll share real workflows being used in production across prospecting, outbound personalisation, qualification, discovery prep and follow-up — with time for Q&A on what’s working, what’s been dropped, and what’s worth testing.

Wednesday 19 August 2026 | 1:00-1:45pm | Free. Register

Christchurch: Tech Summit’26

Join me at Canterbury Tech Summit ’26, where I’ll be previewing the big shifts shaping SaaS and what they mean for how we build, compete and grow. It’s a chance to get into the SaaSpocalypse conversation ahead of SaaSpocalypse Now in Wellington on 24 September.

Regardless of whether you’re joining the Summit, come along to our SaaS Leaders Breakfast beforehand on Wednesday 16 September, 7:15–8:30am at Westend Stories Cafe & Eatery. Hosted by KiwiSaaS Canterbury’s Kate Radcliffe Reid, it’s an easy way to meet local founders, SaaS leaders and innovators over coffee and kai before the day gets underway.
