The Story

Unleashed was founded in Auckland in 2009 by Greg Murphy and Terry Patmore to modernise inventory, production and sales management for SMEs. Fun fact: Right back at the start, the company was called "Black Dog" because founder Greg Murphy loved Led Zeppelin and that was his favourite track. What he didn't know was that 'the black dog' was also Winston Churchill's name for his bouts of depression, and half of their early web traffic was people looking for mental health advice. So they decided to change the name, and the dog was 'unleashed'!
